Molluscum Contagiosum

It's not a Harry Potter spell and it's not a zit either. That's what Alex has... one. It's in the same family as chicken pox, caused by a poxvirus. It can be itchy, but right now it doesn't seem to bother her at all. She started out with 4 tiny ones each about a 1 mm in diameter on her face. Three of them are gone after a few weeks. But the one on her right cheek has gotten bigger to about 1/4" and looks red and inflamed. The doctor said it's nothing really to worry about, and should go away in a few months by itself. A FEW MONTHS? As long as it doesn't rupture and spread then it should be good. It's apparently contagious by contact and will spread if it breaks. So now, I have to be careful when I wash her face.
